Rance Nix is an entertainment personality from Atlanta, Georgia that does it all from television/film/theatre, stand up comedy, improv, hosting events, to radio DJing with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. Rance is currently in New York City acting and working on some of his own video projects including “Table for 1” and "That's Fresh." Overall, Rance is an all around talent with a knack for inspiring others through his work. Ultimately, he would love to host his own television show candidly discussing all things culture.
Even though he hails from Atlanta, Rance has spent the past five years in New York City. From the time he moved to the city in the summer of 2015, he's been quite busy. Rance initially moved to New York to star in the play Las Meninas as Nabo Sensugali with the New Brooklyn Theatre. After the show closed, he was cast as the lead character Anansi in the play Anansi Spider and Baby Frankenstein in the indie film Baby Frankenstein. Rance was also a recipient of the Upright Citizens Brigade Diversity Scholarship and completed the level 101 and level 201 classes. On top of all that, during New York Fashion Week he snuck into the Yeezy Season 3 model casting and then waited outside Kanye West’s apartment to pitch Kanye face to face to be the first little person in a major NYFW runway show. Most recently he starred in the indie feature film Jabberwanky and currently runs a viral dating show on Instagram called "Love is Quarantine."
Rance knows that he definitely stands out. He also knows that he has something special to offer the world and he is never afraid to hit the streets and make moves on his own. There is no other cool, confident, African American actor and entertainment personality like Rance Nix. Ultimately, he wants to use his uniqueness to positively impact every person that encounters him and his work for the glory of God.
