Rance Nix is an entertainment personality from Atlanta, Georgia that does it all from television/film/theatre, stand up comedy, improv, hosting events, to radio DJing with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. Rance most recently starred in The Kings of Napa on the Oprah Winfrey Network. Some dream projects for Rance: A romantic comedy, a period drama film, and hosting his own television show "Late Night with Rance."
Even though he hails from Atlanta, Rance has spent the past eight years in New York City. From the time he moved to the city in the summer of 2015, he's been quite busy. Rance initially moved to New York to star in the play Las Meninas as Nabo Sensugali with the New Brooklyn Theatre. After the show closed, he was cast as the lead character Anansi in the play Anansi Spider and Baby Frankenstein in the indie film Baby Frankenstein. Rance was also a recipient of the Upright Citizens Brigade Diversity Scholarship and completed the level 101 and level 201 classes. On top of all that, during New York Fashion Week he snuck into the Yeezy Season 3 model casting and then waited outside Kanye West’s apartment to pitch Kanye face to face to be the first little person in a major NYFW runway show. To top it all off, his performances in the films Trapeze USA, Forward Thinking, and Jabberwanky were greatly praised and in 2020 he ran a successful viral dating show on Instagram based on the hit Netflix show "Love is Blind" called "Love is Quarantine."
